I have been a remote viewer for the majority of my life now. it’s not just a process its a way of being, every time I RV it’s a creative process. I had a few written and face-to-face discussions on this topic with the creator of RV – Ingo Swann. It all came after I slowly realized that what he was creating as a highly structured method – CRV – was in fact ART & creativity – hidden. Being an artist, photographer, and graphic designer all my life – this resonated with me perfectly.
The formal and highly organized six-plus stage process of 1980’s CRV is in fact distilled down to doodles, sketches, and then models or advanced sketches. It’s a hidden mechanism to pull and express creative signals (ART) onto paper.
Recently I came across this book: The Creative Act: A Way of Being: The Sunday Times bestseller – Rick Rubin
And I must say that this book is a must for every student of RV to read and absorb. It could have been written for Remote viewing. and is imo, the perfect accompaniment to EVERY method being taught today or it is at least for my FLOW RV method and my philosophy and thinking behind the RV way of life.
Written by Record producer Rick Rubin (Def Jam recordings) Rubin helped popularize hip hop by producing records for acts such as the Beastie Boys, Geto Boys, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, and LL Cool J. He has also produced hit records for acts from a variety of other genres.
Over the years, as he has thought deeply about where creativity comes from and where it doesn’t, he has learned that being an artist isn’t about your specific output; it’s about your relationship to the world.
